Adare Golf Club

Adare Golf Club was only created in 1995 and is the creation of Robert Trent Jones. Although relatively new, the course is considered among the best inland courses in Ireland. On the course you will find a superb hotel, originally a stately home of the Earl of Dunraven.

Water comes into play on 10 holes, either in the form of a river or lake and mature trees litter the course. The 18th hole is said to be the course's signature hole - always a fine way to remember a course. It's par 5, 510 yards long and requires confident striking of the ball. Your (hopefully!) 3rd shot will require a solid pitch across the river Maigue into the 18th green.

The greens of the course are large - potential for three putting! Finally, the course from the back tees is 7100 yards long - best wishes.
